“Previously the Fox Run Chief financial officer, my professional focus was to procure a sound business plan with an emphasis on open communication. My current philosophy has not changed much, just broadened now that I have become the chief executive officer.
Fox Run is an architecturally stunning facility with state of the art amenities, and a beautiful 54 acre campus to call home. However, what makes Fox Run shine is its Community Members! Fox Run Community Members embrace the attitude of “Live Life,” and I witness this on a daily basis. Consistent with Fox Run’s Mission Statement ‘…an exceptional living option where seniors may age with grace and dignity,’ you have my word that I will see this through. As I previously mentioned, my door is always open; so please feel free to reach out to me.”

Formerly a small business owner working with homeowners and builders, I understand that clear communication is imperative. With over 20 years of construction experience, Fox Run allows me to utilize my knowledge, previous work experience, and education to contribute to an established community that promotes a team centered work environment. I am also comfortable knowing that my hardwork and family oriented background encompasses the Fox Run mission statement’s values, in that “We are accountable for our individual performance and the achievement of the organization’s quality, and financial goals.” The Fox Run campus as a whole is equally important as the Community Members themselves. I look forward to maintaining the high standards of
this premier continuing care retirement community in the south towns, and taking this community into its future. Matt earned his Bachelors of Arts in management, from Canisius College of Buffalo, NY. Contact Matt at mlawless@foxrunorchardpark.com

She aims to better the lives of everyone involved in the community – both those who live and work here – in everything she does. And trust us, when she puts her mind to something, she achieves it – like her time playing semi-pro soccer for the Buffalo Phillies.

In January of 2014, I was promoted from Resident Liaison to the Director of Resident Services at Fox Run at Orchard Park. Having had the opportunity to meet all of the Community Members, their families and staff alike, I couldn’t believe what a caring, and exciting ‘culture’ that exists at Fox Run. It’s such a privilege to be a part of this community. Having said that, I strive to carry out the Fox Run mission statement every day: ‘Fox Run at Orchard Park offers an exceptional living option where seniors may age with grace and dignity.’ Fox Run offers programs and events that encompass the six dimensions of wellness: physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, social and vocational. My goal is to build on existing caring relationships and continue to better Fox Run for all living and working here. I will always help in any way I can, that’s my nature. My door is always open for an idea or concern. I am engaged with the Community Members daily; the heart of this community.
