Fox Run Health Center Skilled Nursing

Fox Run at Orchard Park reports zero COVID-19 cases amongst our Skilled Nursing Community.

Fox Run currently does not have a mask requirement for staff unless they did not receive their flu vaccine. 

Visitors must complete the AccuShield Kiosk process when you arrive for your visit. No testing prior to visiting is required. Please stay home if you are not feeling well or have recently come into contact with someone who was COVID-19 positive. 

All visitors must follow the new guidelines for visits:

  • When arriving on the Fox Run campus, all visitors must enter through the Health Center main entrance and check-in at the AccuShield Kiosk, a temperature check will be taken (to ensure it’s below 100), if approved, a ‘visitor day pass’ will be issued
  • Masks are available, but not required
  • All visitors will be directed to their loved one’s room. If you would like to reserve a private meeting space, such as a conference room or our family room, please contact the Activities Department at 716.508.2157
  • Suggested visitation hours are:
    • Daily, 10:30am–8:00pm 
  • For off-campus visits, please call the Skilled Nurse’s Station at least 24-hours in advance, 716.508.2158

If a Resident comes into contact with someone who is ill with COVID-19, or becomes ill after an outing, a rapid test will be performed on the Resident. Any known contact with COVID-19 must be reported to the Director of Nursing Janine Fino.

Fox Run Assisted Living & Memory Care

Fox Run at Orchard Park reports zero COVID-19 cases in our Assisted Living & Memory Care Residents and staff.

If we observe any Resident or employee to have potential symptoms of COVID-19, we will conduct a rapid test immediately.

Fox Run currently does not have a mask requirement except for staff who did not receive their flu vaccine.

Vaccine Information

Fox Run partners with Buffalo Pharmacies to provide the COVID-19 vaccine and boosters to all new and unvaccinated Fox Run Community Members, and staff who wish to receive the vaccine. 

Fox Run Independent Living (Commons Building, Arbor View Apartments & Patio Homes)

Fox Run at Orchard Park is happy to report zero COVID-19 cases amongst our Independent Living Community Members. If any Community Member does not feel well, please call your primary care physician and notify the Wellness Office at 716.508.2167, do not leave your apartment or patio home. 

The CDC recommendation for any respiratory virus including COVID-19, Flu and RSV is to return to normal activities after at least 24-hours, symptoms are improving overall, and if a fever was present, it has been gone without the use of a medication.                                                                                        

All visitors must check-in first at the AccuShield Kiosk in the Commons Building. 

Mask Requirements

Fox Run does not require staff entering the Health Center to wear an N95 or surgical mask, except if they have not received their flu vaccine.

In-person Visitation for Independent Living

All visitors must check-in first at the AccuShield Kiosk in the Commons Building. 

All visitors must follow these important guidelines:

  • Independent Living Community Members are responsible for ensuring all guidelines & protocols are followed by their visitors
  • All visitors must check-in at the AccuShield Kiosk in the Commons Building, a temperature check will be taken (to ensure it’s below 100).  If approved, a ‘visitor day pass’ will be issued
  • All visitors must check-in at the Commons reception desk after using the AccuShield Kiosk
