The Health Center at Fox Run at Orchard Park features “Person Centered Care,” which means any medical attention will be personalized for your needs. With staff available 24 hours a day and seven days a week, no need will go unmet: from daily tasks to ongoing programs and everything in-between.
No matter what your health needs, Fox Run has it all in one campus: 34 assisted living suites, 18 specially designed memory care suites in the LPCiminelli Memory Care Neighborhood, and 50 skilled nursing rooms. The Health Center also features a fully equipped rehabilitation center, physician’s offices, and private counseling areas.
Live life with as much independence as possible in our comfortable assisted living unit. Personal care aides are available to assist with activities of daily living such as bathing and dressing. Our caring nursing team manages and administers daily medications to give you and your family peace of mind. Housekeeping and laundry services are also included as well as a full calendar of engaging activities.
Fox Run Community Members with cognitive impairment can live life to their fullest while remaining safe and secure in the LPCiminelli Memory Care Neighborhood. Suites are designed specifically to let you personalize your space to fit your needs.
Each Community Member in the LPCiminelli Memory Care Neighborhood receives an individualized service plan developed by our case manager, program coordinator, and specially trained staff. In addition, Fox Run nurses and personal care aides offer assistance with activities of daily living 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Programs and events are offered on a daily basis by our dynamic activities staff. Most importantly, our case manager is available to help you and your family adjust to your new environment, as well as monitor your progress.
Fox Run’s Skilled Nursing program combines a warm, home-like setting with 24-hour nursing care. Our health center team brings compassionate care, open communication and respect to all Community Members and their families. Our intimate setting offers a unique opportunity for personalized attention and individualized care and is overseen by our licensed nursing home administrator who has over 20 years of experience. The program includes assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing and dressing, medication management and administration, incontinence management, social services, and stimulating activity programs seven days per week.
The Institution for Person-Centered Care
Fox Run at Orchard Park is a proud participant in The State University of New York at Buffalo Institute for Person-Centered Care. This organization is designed to provide better delivery of services to frail and vulnerable people, particularly the elderly, while supporting advocacy and public awareness of their needs. Through a program of cross-disciplinary research, education, and practice development, this new institute brings together researchers, educators, health care providers, and community-based programs to develop and disseminate evidence-based care of the frail and aging senior citizens in our society.
Leading Age of New York
Fox Run at Orchard Park is also an active member of Leading Age New York. This organization was founded in 1961 and was formerly known as the New York Association of Homes & Services for the Aging (NYAHSA). It represents not-for-profit, mission-driven and public continuing care providers, including nursing homes, senior housing, adult care facilities, continuing care retirement communities, assisted living, and community service providers. Leading Age New York provides a vehicle for sharing information and research as well as providing advocacy and regulatory support that benefits its 600 members.
